Sitting on the Park Bench...........

Hey everybody! Things are cool here in Amsterdam. We've seen some cool stuff like a Holland Beach Soccer Tournament Iraq vs. Egypt (see the cheerleaders below,oh btw Iraq won 1-0). The photo of Kathleen with those clowns on the bench is at the Rose Garden at Vondelpark.

This afternoon (It's Zondag, that's Sunday) we went back to Vondelpark and saw some really cool classical music at the open air theatre in the park. That's the orchestra above.

I went for an afternoon with Anne that totally ruled. Here's Anne above on her bike. We went to the newly opened Amsterdam Library with a beautiful terrace on the 5th floor overlooking the city. We had a snack up there. We also went to Dappermarkt, this huge outdoor flea market place. Plus, Anne and I had lunch at Oosterpark.

Hey, it's another trip to Europe

Well, it's almost time to depart for the 2007 trip. This year is Amsterdam and England. There is also a rumor out that we will visit Wales, but that's a secret. And what a crew! This year, we are delighted to have, returning for her 2nd visit to Amsterdam, ms. HEATHER ! Here she is in this photo below from her historic 2005 trip, pictured with these two clowns:

Also this year, we are delighted to welcome back my sister Kathleen, shown below in this file photo from her rookie year 2006 . She is shown with Anne in Vondelpark. Anne is totally amazing! Anne, can't wait to see you!

Hey, Mike is coming down to Amsterdam from Germany for his 4th consecutive visit. He is shown below in this recent photo with me from Maine.

Below is our friend Afra, who lives in Amsterdam, and is wicked cool, and we always hang around with her! This year she is going to show us the beach!

We are also welcoming one rookie this year: Jason. Jason is coming over with Heather. Jason is looking forward to meeting some cool Dutch people, being Centraal-certified, moseying around town, and checking out all the cool places in A'dam. Jason will love Amsterdam.
